Arden

The post of Warden of Arden is not hereditary, but subject to crown appointment. It includes command of the Rangers of Arden, and is generally accorded the precedence of a Dukedom. Matters of precedence have not come up much, because the post has most often been held by Princes, including Finndo, Corwin, and Julian.
